HomeDVD is an engineering based multimedia company which offers vintage media transfers like old 8mm or Super 8 films to DVD or Blu-ray disc, videotapes of all kinds to DVD, 35mm slides to DVD and old audio media (reel to reel and cassette) to CD. Our specialty work however is in imaging, digital video processing, custom video projects, web site development and SEO work.
Though we don’t need engineers right now, we do require technically oriented people/students particularly during the Christmas season on a part time basis. Our business is somewhat unique in the new media space, so the ability to wear several hats would be a good thing. We will train you. If you have any new media or video production experience/skills lets talk. Whether you have just High School or are a new media graduate and have a passion for multimedia, let me hear from you.
We will teach you what we have learned in film and video transfer technologies, video production techniques and post production work (DVD, Blu-ray). If you have a strong desire to learn new stuff, are organized, consider yourself a self starter, can multi-task in a fast paced environment and still have fun to boot, we would like to talk to you.
Right now we do not have any full time openings.
We do however have opportunities during our busiest season which runs from September through January. There can be part time work available during days, evenings or weekends – 10-30hrs/week during this period.
